I am hoping to be there, my first match of the season. Something like 400 mile round trip for me, so it had better be worthwhile.

Our first win would take us off the bottom. I am finding it difficult to get interested in this league with so many unknown teams and hardly any known players, probably not helped by our position. I still keep going to the Southern League website to read results and player news.

I think the allure of the National League North/South makes the league above a lot more exciting as well

I'm not sure what a young player from a League club would gain from Step 4 football.
