Seems crazy asking this in July, but any need for a pitch inspection?

A really good competitive performance which we really should have won apart from some poor finishing. I thought we were solid and confident although losing the left back/ midfielder threw us, MH changed it at half time and fixed that. I'd say the back 5 is sorted, midfield needs a tweak and we're an out and out goalscorer short. Cairo is an enigma, reminds me of Onandi Lowe how he bursts into the game then lazily walks back. All in all it's looking like a men's football team for the first time in a couple of seasons.

Really enjoyed the game and many aspects of our performance. I thought both goalkeepers made a great account of themselves. If we sign Hughesy on for next season I think we have a really solid defence with great options, I really like the way Tejan fits into the 3 at the back. I know we’ve signed Dickens now, so with Green as the other fullback we may only be looking to sign one more fullback. I’m a bit torn now because whilst I thought Trialist McNeill looked good against Lutterworth, I thought Trialist Malkin was absolutely superb whilst he was playing RWB last night, the link up play was excellent. Calvin Green’s set piece delivery has been refreshing, and definitely hasn’t looked out of place in the midfield. We probably need another midfield signing, which I presume will be Trialist Price, who played well last night, although made the odd turn in midfield losing the ball as a result which is always a dangerous decision to make when opposition players are around you. As for our striking options, presuming we sign on Ngwa, I still think we may need one more option. Not sure what’s happening with Dylan Wilson?
