What is going to be our starting line up? Not having seen any PSF I cannot guess which of newbies will be in team. I am hopeful that we will include Heath, Wilson, Dallas, Thomas and Taylor. Are we allowed to choose any 3 from 7 subs?

Not 100% but would assume 5 from 7.sussexdiamond wrote: Wed Jul 31, 2024 5:36 pm What is going to be our starting line up? Not having seen any PSF I cannot guess which of newbies will be in team. Something of note - new for this season we can now use all 5 subs in league matches.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I’m sure I read that the 5 subs could be used whenever the manager pleases, instead of having a maximum amount of 3 set ‘substitution opportunities’. I’m glad that 5 subs can now be used, but without the maximum amount of subs windows this could cause an increase in time wasting.BartonRaz wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2024 11:52 am Something of note - new for this season we can now use all 5 subs in league matches.

I absolutely love the FA Cup, ever since I was a little boy when I used to sit to the TV all day long watching the build up to the final on BBC (we only had three channels back then lol) I've been enthralled with the competition. The old club gave us some very memorable moments, the Leeds Utd matches obviously being up there as the pick of them!
We've not had the rub of the green with draws or results in recent years, and we need a cup run like never before for the obvious financial rewards it can bring! We probably couldn't have had a tougher draw for our first competitive game of the new season, but we've nothing to lose apart from a few local bragging rights so should go there and have a good old go at them - who knows what can happen if we go with the right mindset!
I can't be there Saturday sadly, but thanks to Radio Diamonds I'll be able to follow all the action, I'm so grateful the Radio Diamonds crew for their excellent coverage. Be loud and proud at the weekend guys n gals and let's hope this is the start of a special and memorable season - if we do lose we need to bounce straight back and not let it define our season!
