Four of our five remaining games in January are at home, so we really must use that to our advantage.

What would really help is a decent experienced in form goalscorer.
Anyone got any ideas or a few quid to spare.?

Step 4:
Liam Read (Hinckley) - played for RDFC but doubt he would sign for us now.
Kyle Carey (Coventry Sphinx) - potentially a decent shout?

Step 5:
Victor Osobu (Eynesbury) - scored a bucket load, would be a great signing.
Lewis Irwin (Northampton Chenecks).
Rhys Thorpe or Kieran Barnes (St. Neots).

Problem is with the Step 5 players mentioned above, are they realistically going to leave a Step 5 title race / play off race to join us below mid table in step 4? I doubt it.

Step 6:
Nat Ansu (Moulton) - was mentioned last season, presumably we’ve looked at him but probably earns a lot at Moulton.
Kobi Bivens (Irchester) - another player mentioned last season.

I’m sure there will be plenty of people on here with better knowledge of steps 5 & 6 who can probably make better suggestions.

We've tried to get Irwin repeatedly over the last 2 years. He's playing 2 levels below the level he should be at (3 last season!) but simply won't leave Chenecks.

Ansu we tried last season but wasn't interested.

Rhys Thorpe has been on the radar for a year or so - we put 7 days in for him around this time last year but didn't get anywhere with it. I'd be surprised if he wanted to move at this point given where St. Neots are in the league.

Thanks for the insights.

It’s a shame because I think if we could have held on to our top half position we would have been a relatively attractive proposition.

Hoping this is on and the pitch thaws so the game can go ahead as I've been off a lot recently. If we do have to do a pitch inspection and considering Bedworth is only 45 minutes away, maybe hold off until midday if possible?

Victor Osubu still an option then.

Lewis Irwin has been at Chenecks since he started playing football.

Kobi turned down money to sign for Irchester, he's scoring loads but keeps getting sent off.

Dan Camacho at Moulton could be worth a look. He's more a 10 than a 9. He got injured and has fallen off my radar a bit. The pitch at Moulton doesn't help.
