It is with great sadness that I have been asked to inform the members on this Forum, of the very sudden passing of Doyle, who had been ill for a number of years, with diabetes and heart problems. An Autopsy confirmed that he died from a massive heart attack.
Doyle was a supporter of both clubs, and I know he was still in touch with some of the DeBankers.
He was a great help to me when I was in charge of the close season maintenance at Diamonds when the Trust took over.
When he, Jo, Harley and 'little,' Doyle moved to Canada, both he and Jo, still kept in contact with their many Diamonds friends. Although he and Jo divorced, they still remained friends, and he would often pop in for a cuppa.
Both Harley and 'little' Doyle are absolutely devastated (as is Jo) and I am sure you will join with me, in sending our most sincere condolences to them all. May you rest in peace Doyle A true Diamond!!!!
