We could be in a funny position where if we lose to Luton, we face them in the playoffs, with them finishing 2nd and us 5th. At the same time, if we beat Luton, we could end up playing.... Luton, with them falling behind Oxford and us getting 4th.
We're damned if we do and damned if we don't. ;)

Draw would be the best result....but if we win, we've done the double over them, so i'm happy either way now. Roll On next saturday.

Just got to hope Wrexham can get something against Oxford then if we still want to play Oxford in the playoffs, although after today's showing against us I seriously doubt Wrexham will get anything from that game.

I don't think it matters who we play. One could argue that Oxford have rediscovered some form whilst Luton's draw with Alty could mark the end of their good run. Who knows ? Yesterday showed that the squad has strength in depth so we should be capable of beating either.

I see that Downer is one yellow away from a 3 match suspension so I don't expect he will be playing next Saturday.

I actually happen to think we will end up playing Luton because Oxford will finish second.

Looking at the remaining fixtures for Oxford on paper they should win them, but I've got a feeling Eastbourne away last day of the season could be interesting for them. Regardless of what Gateshead do in midweek, that is a must win game for them in the relegation dogfight, (they've got an inferior goal difference) so I'd expect that game to be quite intense.

Could be an interesting weekend.

No-one is in danger of receiving a suspension through single yellow cards at this stage of the season. The worry yesterday was that Simon Downer or Kurt Robinson might have received a second yellow card/red card in the final period of the game, which would have invoked a suspension. As Downer had already been sent off twice this season (Salisbury Home, Altrincham Home), he would have missed three games if that had happened.
