Re: Cobblers vs K*ttering
Agreed I was very jealous, the game doesn't really have the same historical meaning for K*ttering as it would if it was us. As for Harborough bit of a stinky draw but a chance to get into the 2nd round, the income for both clubs must be so lucrative from these runs - it still pains me how badly we ...

Re: 2023/24 - Confirmed Staff & Squad List
At this stage last year we only had 3 players from the previous season. This time round we have at least seven plus Jones returning and still a couple more likely and although only 3 newcomers they all know Step 4 and have previously played for Nunn. We could do with an experienced striker to work ...

Re: [ Sat 18th Feb ] v Hednesford Town, KO 3pm SLPDC HOME
Yesterday was without doubt a very hard watch. How can we fall so far in 12 months?
A goal and/ or a point would be great. Surely that's not too much to hope for. I do fear that crowds will continue to fall, and it won't be easy to get them back unless we have a really good season next time, but at ...

Re: [ Sat 11th Feb ] v Barwell, KO 3pm SLPDC HOME
I won't judge Nunn too much this season after the mess he took on.
Yesterday was for me the old cliche of a tale of two halves. First was dreadful, the second a big improvement, when I thought we were the better team.
New keeper was good although I got a bit worried when he was going up so early ...

I would be surprised if it's on. Temperature according to BBC isn't going to get to zero until 11.00am, max of 3C for an hour then back to freezing by 7.00pm.

We just Aneed to sort Bruce with the mic when making subs 🤦♂️😂 Ryan Hughes OUT..... Andy (etc etc) IN. 😂😂😂😂
Bruce does a great job, but yeah someone needs to tell him this isn’t the NFL!
No, please don't tell him! Quite enjoyed something a bit different, but I did have to think about what ...

Re: [ Sat 10th Dec ] v Needham Market, KO 1pm SLPDC AWAY
An absolute joke, the club has incurred expense it really shouldn’t have.
Needham were desperate for it to be on as they thought it was an easy 3 points and it might not be when re arranged.
We should have insisted on a local pitch inspection before our coach left. We would have done so for ...

Re: World Cup 2022
One of the things I have enjoyed so far is all this extra time, fans pay to see 90 minutes of football and a while ago it was reported that the average time the ball spends in play was less than 70 minutes possibly including just 57 at one Premier League game, another good thing about it is when ...
