I am going to this game with a feeling of dread. I am usually one of the most optimistic of supporters but not on this occasion.
Very unlikely I know but I would like to see Darren Purse with Bully, and Quigley with Oulton in the middle.
I would be delighted if anyone can mock me at 10.00 tomorrow night!!!
I'm confident if we perform up to our best we can get a result tomorrow night. If we show them too much respect they will beat us. We need to match them in every position, be confident not hesitant, be clinical in front of goal instead of waste full, and be first to the ball not second.
Also to everyone who is making the long journey, let's make some noise for the lads, let's sing from minute 1 to 90. Let's get right behind the lads.
Be a fantastic feeling coming back on the coach with 3 points. We can do it.

TBF I wouldn't bet against Witton catching Shaw Lane for the title. Shaw Lane have lost twice in 3 games (having lost only twice all season up to that point) leaving Witton 6 points behind with 2 games in hand. Witton also go to Shaw Lane in 2 weeks time in what could be a title decider!
We have properly dropped off and gone a bit stale. We've lost that bit of bite away that's got us half our points and we've brought our home form away i.e. we're playing like a bang average mid-table side, which for me is not good enough. Everything at the moment just feels flat - we know that if we get to the playoffs we'll lose because we're just not good enough. Personally I've completely lost interest this season and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I wouldn't say completely lost interest because that would imply that unless we are winning every game then you're not interested. However I would say that there is a general pessimism going into every game, especially against a Top 6 opposition. Anyone would have thought we are mid table just picking up enough points to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle rather than our current position. But thats the point, most fans only see the home games where we are a relegation team, we have won as many games at home as Loughborough - who are bottom. Performance wise across the season we've had more sinkers than good ones. Most fans are now walking into the D&D every Saturday expecting us to play crap again.
Just got in from Witton. I'm sick of seeing negativity across social media and on this forum about the performances and players, everyone has an opinion granted but we are still in the hunt for the play-offs and actually we matched, if not played better than Witton for half the game tonight. A few people need to see the bigger picture and realise that we can still be promoted and we need all of us to get behind the team and focus on picking up points...
