I guess what goes round comes round and we have been a little flattered by the 20 league game unbeaten run from the last time we played Chasetown, lady luck has certainly turned round to bit us on the arse over the last few weeks, they were a half decent side but no more than that and we dominated enough of the game as with Drayton to have won comfortably. The save made by the jolly green giant was exceptional and at the other end Finner's had little to do, based on chances we won about 4-1 but sadly the papers this morning confirm we lost. Another dreadful performance by the man in black who by the smile on his face appeared to be enjoying every last minute of his inept display, and though he was, like the one at Drayton not solely responsible for our defeat he never missed the opportunity to play an active part. Presume the old "to early in the game" would be the reason for no card after 2 minutes, what he thought he say when Ollie was wiped out other than a very cleaver No 2 hitting the ground as well clutching various parts of his anatomy squealing like a pig I have no idea, and Bunts did have a valid point when he asked him I get booked for calling you a c... and he only gets a yellow for that, the question being asked shortly after Ben Ford had both legs removed just above the knee.
Oh well onward and upward, things can only get better and the next 2 games are only Leek away and Stockesbridge PS (currently top of the form table)
