Re: Former Players
Spoke with Biff Carlin and both Bunts and Smith have severed ties with the club.
Disappointed that they are not on dual reg but good luck to them both.

Re: Former Players
As he was constantly unavailable it is better for him and our management to let him go. Although his goal scoring record was good I have not been impressed.

'Severed ties' always sounds like they left on bad terms.Pressman wrote: Mon Jan 15, 2018 10:24 pm Spoke with Biff Carlin and both Bunts and Smith have severed ties with the club.

I would think and hope both players, especially Bunts would have left the club on good terms.

Re: Former Players
On Radio Diamonds last night Chris Gregory posed the question; Eleven players have scored both for and against AFC R & D. Whilst on air, between myself and those who responded by text we got Ben Diamond, Jake Newman, Declan Rogers, John Stevenson and somebody said Alfie Taylor but I'm not sure about that one.
Lets have your thoughts please. It would add to the fun if you can try and answer from memory without going through the "archives" on the OWS.

I think that ‘severed ties’ as used by Formic in his post, is more to clarify if they are likely to return this season.AFCRD_Dan wrote: Wed Jan 17, 2018 4:57 pm

We’ve had ‘dual registration’ in the past when players have joined clubs playing at a lower level with no likelihood they will return, Joe Merrill springs to mind.
I suppose with both Bunting and Smith we will retain their Southern League registration until 30th June, unless of course, they join another club in our league.

Re: Former Players
As another clue these 11 players played for Arlesey Town, Bugbrooke St. Michaels, Cogenhoe United, Kempston Rovers, Huntingdon Town, Oadby Town and ON Chenecks.sussexdiamond wrote: Wed Jan 17, 2018 6:54 pm On Radio Diamonds last night Chris Gregory posed the question; Eleven players have scored both for and against AFC R & D. Lewis Wilson
Stevo, Ollie B-H (both on the day Oadby won the league)
Elliot L-J
Scotty Joseph, Flamingo
Dec
Alfie (with no celebration)
Stuck on the Bugbrook one, is it 1 from the under 18s
