Lets hope they don’t come out with your negative mind set
Nothing negative from me. They need to be focused from the start and I think Peaksie will be drumming that into them from the start and not to expect Aylesbury to roll over and have their tummy tickled. Leave the partying until 5pm on Saturday.
Let's hope the last two games of the season catch the imagination of the Rushden locals and we can rival the sort of attendances we got at the Dog & Duck in 2014/15 - 600 or so for a midweek game followed by a record total in the PWYW game at the weekend would be a fine reward for the efforts getting football back to Rushden and hopefully clinching promotion. I admit I thought we might need a season to consolidate and absorb the costs of the ground move, so if we do go up it will be a great tribute to those who made the ground move possible.
Add to that is the fact we've got four players who might clinch the highest goalscorer of the season crown in these last two games.
