Simon Downer

Post by sussexdiamond »

The best thing to come out of Kiddy match was to see Simon Downer return. Hopefully this means he will be fit for the play offs? We can ease him back in the remaining games.
We certainly need to get back to the regular back four. As it does not look at though Corcoran will play again this season, and sadly Huke does not really measure up to the others.

For the play offs we must have team of Roberts, regular back four, midfield of Porter, Byrne Terry, with Tomlin and Farrell and any one from the rest up front

Has JEMS decided to rest players for the last few games? And leave to fate who we meet in the play offs?

I think we will see a full strength team on Saturday with Tomlin, Downer, Farrell, Byrne & Terry starting as Justin will want to make certain of the play offs. He may then rest a few by rotation against Mansfield, Wrexham and Luton.
Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building.

If we are going to get Luton, i would like to see as many changes as possible in the final game.

I don't care if we get beat 4/5-0. When they play us in the play-offs they won't know whats hit them.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

A dangerous ploy if Luton can still overhaul Stevenage for the title and perhaps Stevenage and the Football Conference management may have an issue with this, unless of course, the Club can proove that any player left out is injured.
I wouldn't like to see the Club incur a fine or other sanctions.
