Re: Former Players
Robbie Parsons signed for Melton in the UCL, on a contract as well. Presumambly it's better than all the pork pies he can eat.

Re: Former Players
Hope so. I’m surprised we gave him ‘game time’ last Tuesday. I saw his tweet yesterday about getting some game time and meeting old friends today so expected to see him in the Stamford line up and was a tad surprised to see he was in their opponents line up. Can’t see him giving Westcarr a run for his money.sussexdiamond wrote: Sat Jul 21, 2018 4:28 pmThey lost 0-1 at Stamford. Is RR now a "former player"?

Re: Former Players
Not too fussed about RR leaving, I think Jack Bowen will be a more consistent player which is more useful over the course of a season. RR did have some cracking games and had the ability to turn a game around if he wanted but definitely had some spells where he wasn't as effective as he could've been.

Re: Former Players
As others have said I can’t see him coming back now with his tail between his legs, so assume that’s the last of him. I mentioned in another thread that I thought someone would leave to accommodate James Hall and had a hunch it would be Robbins.ParcelFace wrote: Sat Jul 21, 2018 6:13 pm Not too fussed about RR leaving, I think Jack Bowen will be a more consistent player which is more useful over the course of a season. I saw Ryan play quite a few times for Stamford and he was always the standout player, guaranteed to score and feature heavily in the game. Perhaps some consistency has deserted him since.
Was delighted when he signed for us and overall I think he probably delivered albeit on a very inconsistent basis. He was either superb or utterly useless and there was literally no inbetween. I can’t see him playing much for K*ttering if he did sign there but it’s probably a decent move for him all things considered.

phpBB doesn't have threads, it has topics

A friend who supports Corby said they have been looking for a proven striker and not necessarily a cheap one, IMO either Robbins or Weird-Daley will end up there before the Christmas period.
- Play it out from the back.
- 1 up front.
- Man gets one good result via a new manager bounce and thinks he's Pep Guardiola.

Re: Former Players
If Ryan does sign permanently with K*ttering then I think it will be a strange decision from him personally. Considering the abuse he got from a section of their fans on twitter, he did give them as good as he got though. Guess we’ll see if money talks.
If he does he’ll probably end up scoring against us, and that’s if he’s still there when we play them.

Once he plays for them he will love them and they will love him,AFCRD_Dan wrote: Sat Jul 21, 2018 8:38 pm If Ryan does sign permanently with K*ttering then I think it will be a strange decision from him personally. Orrin Pendly played for Redditch and was racially abused by a fan when playing agaisnt K*ttering, but he still signed for K*ttering.
