Former Players
Re: Former Players
Paul Bastock, their assistant manager, was a named sub for Kings Lynn on Saturday. He holds the record for most appearances by any player- 1279 - 19 of which were for Diamonds in the 2007/2008 season.

Re: Former Players
I note that both Matt Berry-Hargreaves and Albie Hopkins are involved for Oxford U23's tonight, so presumably whatever injury Albie had has now cleared up. Does anyone know if both lads are still involved with us? Would be a shame if not.

Re: Former Players
I guess it's down to playing time, Matt would be a handy lad to have around but would he get a start with who is available from our existing squad at the moment, probably not, slightly different with Albie. Personally I'd prefer that we use our own players but keep the link with Oxford so if for whatever reason we needed some cover we could hopefully call on them.BartonRaz wrote: Tue Feb 12, 2019 8:25 pm I note that both Matt Berry-Hargreaves and Albie Hopkins are involved for Oxford U23's tonight, so presumably whatever injury Albie had has now cleared up. Re: Former Players
Joel Gyasi featured in Cambridge City's 3-0 defeat to Aylesbury FC yesterday. A club with nothing to play for as they already know they will be demoted at the end of the season for failing ground grading.
A penny for his thoughts.

Re: Former Players
Seems Albie Hopkins has confirmed on Twitter that he's left the club and gone back to Oxford. Disappointing news but to be expected.
