The formation with the wing backs Tuesday night was effective in its defensive role against some high quality players.
Tomorrow is must win and I believe Sam and Zac can give us width, good crosses and pace finding much more opportunity to attack against St Ives. We need some guile up front and Ben D could offer this alongside Tom. Three points please to kick start the final run in.
It doesn't look as though Ben Diamond will be fit. This really is a must win if we are to keep our hopes alive. Let's wish our friends up the road have a good day v Alvechurch and that the gap is closed to just three points by 5 o clock tomorrow.
Ben Diamond, pictured during Tuesday's NFA Hillier Senior Cup final against Brackley Town, is a doubt for AFC Rushden & Diamonds' trip to St Ives Town after he suffered an ankle injury late on in the game at Sixfields.

No goals in our last 3 games and just 5 goals in our last 9 games which speaks volumes about where we’re now at. Fortunately we’re so solid defensively.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

It seems the last few seasons we've struggled in the final run ins. My worry is that teams are beginning to suss us out, so we must recruit well in the summer for next season if we're going to aim for the play offs again.
