I'd start with 4-4-2 personally:-
.........................Heath
Reynolds......Collard....Dolman......Brown
Nat G-T........Slinn........Hicks........Acquaye
.....................Lorraine.....Dove
But I think AP will go with wing backs which means either Reynolds or Nat G-T miss out and I dont think either should. We'll see I guess.

I would prefer Cooper in goal. I feel he is more vocal and commanding. The starting eleven is dependent on who are the players unavailable.

No way I'd have Reynolds not in the team, although the new guy has looked decent.
Has to be a place for Johnson in there for me aswell, I think he offers a quick attacking option and can do a job supporting shanks up top.
Not sold on this dove chap, but happy to be proved wrong.

My team would be as follows for Saturday:
...........................Heath...........................
Reynolds......Collard..........Dolman.........Brown
Gosnal-Tyler......Hicks.....Akubuine........Acquaye
.................Lorraine........Johnson.................
Can't realistically see that happening though because we'd have Bowen, Dove and McDonald on the bench / not involved.

Think this is about where I would be only I'm sure Reynolds is not available this Saturday, so I guess we all know what will happen.BartonRaz wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2019 8:15 amWith you on that.rdusher wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2019 7:37 am No way I'd have Reynolds not in the team, although the new guy has looked decent.

I think you'd have to start either Farrell or Rogers (maybe both) for their experience. I don't think Johnson is going to start up top, but I do like your thinking due to his paceBartonRaz wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2019 8:15 amWith you on that.rdusher wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2019 7:37 am No way I'd have Reynolds not in the team, although the new guy has looked decent.

A 4-2-3-1 might give us a bit more balance. Given how he’s been when playing down the middle in preseason, Ben Acquaye might be with playing in a number 10 off Tom. I would definitely have him and Johnson in the team. Given they played with each other at Kempston and linked up well at Tamworth, I’m surprised we haven’t seen more of them together in preseason:
..................... Heath
Reynolds....... Collard ... Dolman. ...Brown
...............Hicks.....Akubuine
Johnson............ Acquaye. ....... Gosnal- Tyler
.................... Lorraine
