We played some really good stuff in the first half, at a high tempo. Good passing, movement and finishing although losing Bully early on was a shame, but Ryan Hughes stepped up to the plate and looked comfy. Blimey he's taller than Collard!
It dropped off in the second half as the team was changed, but we'd got the win by then.
One triallist needs to be signed (Googled him as ex Nuneaton player), real quality on and off the ball.
Well that's pre season done, let's see how it goes against the league teams.

Seven wins 3 draws 30 goals in pre season. I'll settle for that again after 10 league games!

Yesterday especially 1st half we looked solid as a unit, Deano in goal is a coup for this level, how Peaksy has pulled this one off I don't know, going forward on the counter attack we played some lovely football, Smith looked lively up top and I think he will score plenty of goals if the final balls are better. Claudio Dias ex Nuneaton player, hope he signs, he would be a starter every game, controlled the mid and I think he would be another coup for us.

Claudio Dias is actually a current Nuneaton player. Looking at Nuneaton Forum they have listed their squad and he is part of it. . But that means very little at this time of the year! He's had 15 clubs since 2013,started at Cobblers only aged 26.

Can only really comment on what I've seen this pre-season, which is 3 convincing victories against Eynesbury, Cobblers and Daventry. I thought the game last night might have been a bit more evenly matched than it was in the end. A bit of a concern about Dolman coming off though.
Really looking forward to the game next Tuesday against a team I would be expect to be in and around the play-offs. Should give us an idea of where we're at.
