Re: Bully
Many people thought that Bully’s career had ran it’s course last October as age coupled with injuries seem to have caught up with him, and he was dual registered with Daventry Town for a short period, but it surprised us all that when given the opportunity though injuries to other players, he returned to his old form. Unfortunately both him and Collard seem to be injury prone and Alex’s premature end to the season was largely responsible for us not making the playoffs.
Whilst, naturally, many supporters when long established and influential players leave show their disappointment however I’ve learnt though many years watching football that it’s no good to get too emotionally attached to any player.
However both Bully and Alex have been good servants to our Club and have behaved professionally and impeccably at all times and I wish them well with their new club.
