And you wonder why attendances are falling....
How is that remotely relevant??
Well being insulting to a longtime supporter for a start. Why should he or anyone come to games if so called fans abuse him/them . Brownie and I engage in banter, usually light hearted, but I like to think we would not be rude to each other. Of course he follows his son but he still has a place in his heart for Diamonds. With all due respect to Sam I hope the club will still be around when his playing career is over and his father can keep coming to Diamonds games in his old age.

The bloke's not actually a rushden fan though is he, he's a fan of his son. Totally get that. My point is that this is a Rushden forum, yet the only input we've had from the bloke over the past season is about Banbury, and piping up every time someone mentions them. No real need for it. If he was here discussing our team then fair enough, but he's not is he? It's always Banbury related. I've never felt the want or need to visit the Banbury forum (something about people who switch allegiance or follow more than one team that don't sit quite right with me) but I'd be interested to see if your mate is on there talking up the Rushden. I'd suggest possibly not.

Regards being abusive, scroll back through and I think you'll find it was actually your buddy who called me a bell end first.

Appreciate both you guys jumping in to stick up for your mate though, it's decent of you.

Because some people contemplating going to a game could read posts like that and think "if that's the attitude of the fans I'll not bother"

It isn't rocket science
