He did score one goal. But had personal problems which prevented him from playing. Hope all is well now and he can enjoy his football playing nearer to his home.

Re: Former Players
Would have liked to have seen him lead the line for us this season. Get him fit and there's definitely a player in there

Re: Former Players
Why, its part of football and i imagine it was Lee Glover who brought him to us, it was a gamble anyhow as he was badly unfit at the time.sussexdiamond wrote: Sat Jun 18, 2022 11:44 amShouldn't think that will do much for Burgess/Glover friendship.

I think with Jordan Graham if it wasn't K*ttering he would have gone to someone else playing at that level, If I was managing in that league I'd be taking advantage of the Poppies this season, they don't seem to have the money that they once had so in hindsight they will be giving more chances to players from lower leagues which means means if you are a club playing in the same division - the Poppies are taking punts and giving chances at that level to players so you don't have to, then if they do well you can sign them from K*ttering.
Talking of former players, it's nice to see Onandi Lowe's son turning in some good MLS performances for Inter Miami.

Jack Ashton turned out for a Cobblers Legends team against Harpole on Saturday. Harpole were celebrating their 125 year anniversary.

Can't blame a fan for wanting to see us making moves, sussexdiamond wrote: Tue Jun 14, 2022 10:15 amThose comments just about sum up your mentality. We all know you are not a genuine Diamonds fan from your previous posts. Best if you go back to Latimer Park and sort out their problems.SimonHillington9 wrote: Tue Jun 14, 2022 9:35 am What did we expect with our methods of engaging with players. If diamonds fell into a barrel of tits we’d come out sucking are own thumb. I’m worried! Finger needs pulling out.
Although no need to rush signings, I've already seen a couple of players on the Southern League website who have signed for clubs in the past month and have now signed for another club without playing or even training with the previous club,
With Burgess being involved in youth football at Manchester City he may well want to look at loaning youngsters in from League One, League Two and Conference clubs, I believe if clubs at this level can show that they can develop and give opportunities to a player - league clubs would be more willing to let them come on loan for a few months, which is a win win for the parent club, the player and the loan club.
