Could do with those yet to sign doing it this morning instead of dragging it on . They will know that if they play today then they will be cup tied , though I suppose they won’t lose any sleep if they miss out in future.

Today is not just a pre season friendly. We have a good record in the Hillier Cup and it would be a shame to just dismiss it as another training session. They are supposedly the weakest of all our pre season opponents. I don't recall us ever losing to lower opponents in this competition and certainly never losing to Cogenhoe. Does seem bizarre that this is the Northants FAs senior competition and they have relegated it to a pre season sideshow
Time to start showing some form.

Strangely enough I do only too well. I had been living down south for a couple of years and that game was my very first game back up in Northants. That season ended OK though with the Cup.bozzer wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 8:28 am You don’t remember the 7-0 defeat for the under 18s there in our first season!!

If you’re travelling to Cogenhoe United today, please consider the following advice.
The bridge at Billing is still closed so access to the ground will be via Brafield-On-The-Green or via The Earls Barton/Grendon Road.
