Glad to see plenty of positive signs last night, it is absolutely vital that we keep hold of Evan, he was immense, hope we can squeeze something more out of the lottery money for him cause we will need his quality this year.

Plenty of decent other performances, hopefully on that performance we'll get Ngwa in, not convinced by Connor. And have a really good feeling about Jensen, think we could have a gem on our hands there, 4 goals in preseason is decent.

One thing I wondered though, how come we only named 5 subs and no room for some of the new academy intake?

Burgess was very animated during games last season. I hadn't noticed he wasn't doing that this season but if not, maybe it's because it's pre-season.

I believe the winger from Brackley a couple of people have referred to was Cosmos Matwasa, who is only on trial at Brackley having been at Stamford last season.
Cosmos good player! Watched him few times for Anstey Nomads few years ago before joining Stamford, and mentioned his name to staff back then.

Burge gave fair bit of guidance from the dugout last night, more so 2nd half admittedly! The 4 guys I stood with we were all talking about it funny enough, gives good constructive advice without going over the top.
