Re: [ Mon 29th Aug ] v St Ives Town, KO 3pm SLPDC AWAY
I've watched Jenson's goal over and over and I cannot see how that wasn't awarded. Only foul I can see is by the St Ives player for throwing out his arm to try and block Jenson and then grabbing him as he goes past. Goal should have stood and St Ives player should have been given a yellow as the last man. Can the club send that through to the league and ask for an explanation or is there nothing that can be done at this level?

We're certainly not getting the rub of the green these past few matches.
It was a bad decision live, even worse watching it again on highlights.

I agree it was a shocking decision, but there is no desire from the leagues or the FA to improve refereeing standards at this level. Complaining only gets people's backs up and earns you a reputation as trouble makers.Deryck wrote: Thu Sep 01, 2022 12:26 am I've watched Jenson's goal over and over and I cannot see how that wasn't awarded. We tried to overturn Brownie's red card at Wisbech a few years back, in that infamous match we won despite having 3 men sent off. You can clearly see on the video that he won the ball, yet the FA argued there was insufficient evidence that the ref had made an obvious error. I'm sure the video is still on YouTube if you want to see just how bad a decision it was.
