A signing! Chris Manangu.

All the best of luck to him, I hope he makes a difference from his profile picture he looks a tall lad which is obviously good, a bit of step 3 experience last season but mainly sub appearances it seems. Though hate to be negative about someone we haven't seen play yet, but again, it feels like we're having to resort to signing players no one else wants, he has been without a club since last season, means he'll take a while to get up to match fitness and settle in which is not what we need right now, we need players who have been playing regularly and in form, even it means looking to the UCL.
Is it that Richard Maxwell has no contacts, or have we got to the point where the club is simply unable to attract step 3 standard players to club anymore, seeing Ravi go to Ives, while predictable, is still another kick in the teeth.

I really hope he can give us something but not quite the pedigree I was hoping for. Fingers crossed he can get us a few goals. More disappointed on the loss of Jesse and failure to attract any of Ravi, Ben Diamond or Fernando back to the club.

Our self appointed manager has so far blocked some of the most loyal supporters we have on social media in the last 48 hours. All because he's been called out for being absolutely cluesless and hopeless.
It's how he works. If he doesn't like what you say he will wipe you out (block you in this case) until all he is surrounded by is yes men and people who will blindly support him as they think he is "trying his best" blah blah blah.
We need to lose tomorrow and he needs to be sacked after the game and be shown the door from the whole club. Then we can focus on the EGM in November and sorting this mess out! Mr Maxwell is part of the reason the club is in this mess. When a former well respected chairman comes on here and says he'd "Never support Maxwell" we know we have a problem.
Prediction tomorrow - 2 nil Sporting and our lads to "put in a good shift!"

Irrespective of results I’m not sure how he can continue as manager with the volume of unhappy supporters.

The best he can is to set up a team to lose, conceed at least 3 (should be 8) and for us to be lucky to score 1.ChappoC wrote: Fri Oct 28, 2022 11:50 pm
I hope he ignores them and continues to do the job to the best he can while he is in the job.
That isn't how our fans should be acting and it took more than one person to put him in the managerial position.
Then come out and give an interview that means absolutely nothing!
The bloke is killing the club from the inside. If he had the clubs best interest at heart he'd resign!
He's living out some kind of managerial fantasy and the club is being used as some kind of real life Football Manager PC game play thing for him. I wont go and I know of a few more that shalln't be going whilst he's in charge.
I missed my usual trip to Leiston on Tuesday, the club was playing 20 minutes from my house and I decided not to go. Once more I didn't really care I missed it. I have never felt such apathy towards the club and I'm sure I'm not the only one. We're be looking at sub 300 crowds when the deepest darkest winter days and nights come round.
Maxwell is the major party responsible for this mess in my opinion.
The fact that he was sending messages to some fans saying "Good support, I'll bring the drum next week for you again, you're the 12th man blah blah blah". Then blocks them once they critise him, tells you all you need to know about the bloke.
He just want to hear that everything is great and he's doing a good job. When he's clearly completely hopeless at managing a football team of any level. Let alone this one.

Hoping for a result but jeez is it just awful at the moment. Every single thing poor decision that could have happened has happened. Nothing less than a win today. If not the decision had to happen following the EGM. I’m tempted for Kempston v Ware today for my football fix.

Take the point and let’s move onto Wednesday and get this nightmare fixed.

10 league goals scored by 10 different players must be some sort of record.
