This is Chris Nunns first real test since becoming manager. With likely seven of his signings starting it is truly now "his" team. It would be great to hit the ground running and start with a win but realistically it will probably take a couple of games for them all to gel. Two home games this week will give us a chance to see all the new players in action (good luck to Joseph with that one!)

Don’t mean to be negative but have you seen the temperatures . Monday night -3 ,won’t go above 2 (foggy no sun) Tuesday and -1 at kickoff .

It does seem a bit less cold today, but lets hope its an easy decision either way about whether its on or off. A Womens match that was abandoned yesterday is making plenty of headlines, although perhaps the fact the Darlington fans travelled all the way to Banbury on Saturday in the midst of the coldest weather, only for their game to be a late call-off should also raise a few eyebrows.diamondsteve wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 11:03 am Don’t mean to be negative but have you seen the temperatures . Barwell got a draw, Kings Langley lost and Hednesford were thrashed 9-1 at Tamworth this weekend, it's a shame we haven't been playing but at least the teams around us who have played haven't been able to move further in front of us.
All these last minute postponements are madness, I know they like to give a game every opportunity to go ahead but it's unfair on the players and fans at this level, literally every day in the news we hear about the cost of living.
Apparently the Darlington manager wanted the game called off, if true the FA need to crack down, if the referee says it is playable then it should be played, the ref is the one who is in charge, that way the FA can reimburse fans who travel to games that are called off because the responsibility will be with them.

- Play it out from the back.
- 1 up front.
- Man gets one good result via a new manager bounce and thinks he's Pep Guardiola.

I would be surprised if it's on. Temperature according to BBC isn't going to get to zero until 11.00am, max of 3C for an hour then back to freezing by 7.00pm.
