Win A Player's Shirt - @ Luton Game - Sat 24th April

Post by Dazzler »

Once again we'll be doing a "Win a Player's Shirt" Draw at the Luton game.

This is open to home and away fans, and will include a shirt (not match worn - as these go to Player sponsors of course), signed and printed with Player's Name/Number, that we will organise post match, with the relevant club, and arrange collection/delivery with the winning fan.

Image

Tickets should be available at various points around the ground (hopefully we have some youth team sellers), probably near the 50/50 sellers. If you can't find a seller - come to the Trust Cabin on the corner of the South and Airwair stands. The draw will take place at half time, along with the usual 50/50 draw.

All money raised from this draw will go to Trust Funds, which are used to help the club in various ways throughout the year, with help for facilities, cleaning, youth team etc.. as recent examples.

Good luck!

Extra Volunteers Needed For Ticket Sales

We are also in need of some extra ticket sellers for 50/50 and the Player's Shirt sales. So if you are over 18 and able to help, please let us know here, and then come to the cabin on the day - ideally from 1:30pm (if not earlier).

A number of our usual extra sellers are tied up with other Match Day duties due to the busy nature of the day, so if you can help for an hour or so before Kick off, it would be greatly appreciated, and also allow us to raise more funds hopefully.

Credits: Thanks again to Redsnapper for the Shirt Back photos!

Stupid question - have provisions been made such that tickets can be sold to Luton fans to offer them the chance to win a shirt too? With so many of them here it would make it potentially a lot more profitable.

Edit: re-reading it suggests it has been done, but the posters don't suggest this.

Yes - the intention is to be available to both sets of fans. Posters say: "Open to Home and Away fans" - I don't have official pics for Luton Players, so can't use any. The sellers will also make this clear, and will maybe have a different poster for the Luton area. Hard to say how many away fans take advantage of these things normally - usually a small %age will do the oppositions 50/50 etc... though it is mostly a home fan thing, but we'll give it a go - to maximise any takings of course.

Await confirmation. Probably over 16 is ok for Win A Player's Shirt. Turn up at Cabin anyway and am sure we'll be able to get you to help out. Thanks!

Don't definitely put me down for anything though! My transport is limited! What time would I have to be at ground for?

No worries. Anytime from about 1-1:30 really (we should be there earlier), and would give an hour plus of selling as the crowd builds up. Am sure quite a few people will get there earlier than normal - if only to avoid queues.

Okay, will try my best to make it, sorry in advance if transport limitations get the better of me!

As I expected, despite my best efforts, there's no way I'll be able to make it for that time. Hope you get enough people to make it possible Dazzler and the draw goes well, I'll certainly be buying a ticket :)
