Bit harsh. Wasn't his biggest fan first time around but I thought he was really good last night. Won loads of headers and got in the positions to score goals. Pre-season is about sharpening up. On another night he gets 3.GreekDiamond wrote: Tue Jul 18, 2023 10:11 pm Great to see another win!
We really should of scored more, and to be honest if Jones carries on his allergy to score a goal (tap in into an empty net excluded) despite getting multiple great chances; kempston, Leighton and a handful tonight Chris may have to look at trialist strikers to replace him.
All round solid performance and am looking forward to returning to the dog and duck Saturday

Sorry to hear of Ryan,s injury, looks like he will be out for some time and it was great news that we managed to keep him,a bit of reorganising in defence is needed with possibly another signing if possible

If anybody has the ability to get the best out of a player, than Chris Nunn is certainly the man. When he came in during last season, pinto-leite, corden, Cooper, kanga to name a few, all improved under his guidance. For me already, we're seeing a different john dean, who CN rates highly and I have no doubt this will happen to pretty all these young players, including jones . If glennon and Johnston can keep getting better, then we're going to have a real dangerous young side that teams are going to have to put in very good performances to get a result!BartonRaz wrote: Wed Jul 19, 2023 9:44 amBit harsh.
