Although technically a pre season friendly, this is a proper indicator of where we're at. IMO this should be our starting XI for the league. Come on lads.

If you get a chance tonight, pop in to Dale's bar to see, close up, the presentation that George and Isobel made to the club with Dale's boots, gloves and 2 England caps.
Here shown with the Dale Roberts Memorial Cup that was shared on Sunday between the RDFC and AFCRD Legends.
It's not yet fitted but will go up on the wall in due course.

Only my second PSF and after the first half I thought it was going to be a long hard season, but the second half was excellent and showed if we play at high tempo what we can achieve. Pharrel, Tejan and Massingham were very good, and Will Jones didn’t stop putting himself about. It was a good test as they came up against some very strong physical defenders and they are going to face these week in and week out so it was good to see what they could do against them and second half they gave them a torrid time.

Agreed Bozzer, first half was too slow and one or two players were off the pace, Luis needs more game time so might be worth getting some in the u23s. Second half was much better and I thought we should have been out of sight by the time they got their equaliser.
Weird, but I got home and said to the wife that it felt like history repeating, like RDFC 2 Bilston 2. A new beginning maybe, perhaps even the reset has occurred on the pitch and I hope there's an exciting future. Keep these boys together and in 2 seasons the league winning days shall return.

Entertaining game, thought we improved a lot in the second half.
I think Bedford forgot it was a friendly at times, a lot of unnecessary tackles from them, not all bad as it will be a learning curve for the players. Pharrell and Tejan particularly impressed. Overall it’s looking promising for the coming season.
