But it is true. As you will see from my previous post the second half was abysmal. Yes we do need points but we are not far away and yes we do need to strengthen as currently we will struggle to win games. A couple of players to this would make all the difference.

Can anyone tell me if the Lottery proceeds are available to the manager in addition to the playing budget OR do the said proceeds form part of Chris's playing budget.

Did you attend the AGM or ask for the minutes following the meeting? The pressman wrote: Sat Sep 16, 2023 5:25 pm Can anyone tell me if the Lottery proceeds are available to the manager in addition to the playing budget OR do the said proceeds form part of Chris's playing budget.

How is it that we are in a position where UCL clubs are taking our players?! Neither has had much game time, but I thought both were decent when did play. I know they've found some money from somewhere since their player exodus towards the end of last season, how else would they get Nabil, but it is still concerning that we can be losing players to them. The pressman wrote: Sat Sep 16, 2023 5:21 pm Interestingly Dean & Sutton played for Daventry town today
Probably indicative of the hole we find ourselves in, there is absolutely no dressing up this result, worst result since Hednesford last year? Wasn't there but twitter said it all, completely dominant in the first half and really should have scored more. Then capitulation to the only other winless team with 10 men in the second half in a must win game. Chris did an incredible job in turning our fortunes round last year and restored pride in the team and club and we all know how tirelessly he has worked for the club, but this year, financial difficulties or not, it feels like all of that has been undone, they say good teams have a habit of finding a way to win games, sad to say we're the opposite...
Around about this time last year, the board gave Burge a points target over three games that he had to meet to keep his job, we are in an even worse position than we were this time last year, so I really think that is what we should do here because we're getting caught adrift already and something is just not right at the moment.
