Re: Players for next season
I think we're assembling a stronger outfit than last season, a bit more experience and with good mix of ages. I'd say we're 5 or 6 players too light at this time missing 1 x fullback, 2 x wingers and 2 x strikers. Let's hope management can attract those quality players to our rebuild.

Re: Players for next season
To date we have six re-signed and three newbies(are Calvin and Charlie Green related?)
Three departed for higher level (Inman, Scott and Wyatt) Luis off to Danmark.
Just six to be decided. We certainly need to keep Taylor, although I suspect he has been approached by other clubs.
I don't expect O Neil or Purse to re join.
That just leaves Dylan Wilson, Johnston and Ngwa.

Re: Players for next season
Assuming that Purse, Taylor, Ngwa, Wilson & Johnston re-sign, that pretty much fits the criteria of the missing squad members you have outlined, with the exception of Purse who is more of a centre back.
It’s just nice to have the same squad that we ended last season with, that’s exactly what we need, a bit of consistency in the team over a longer period. With a couple nice additions of course.

Re: Players for next season
I obviously missed that. Bit surprised as he was not a regular starter towards end of season but hopefully he has now had time to recover from his previous injuries and will prove a useful member of the squad.rickthediamond wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2024 8:49 amO’Neill was confirmed as staying on last night.sussexdiamond wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2024 8:35 am To date we have six re-signed and three newbies(are Calvin and Charlie Green related?)

Re: Players for next season
Probably a bit behind on this, but what happened to Ryan Hughes. I know he broke his leg but has he returned to playing?
Re: Players for next season
Hopefully we can get Ryan Inman level of experience player in to the midfield again. Need a LEADER to join. If Ryan doesn't get the chance at Harborough Hopefully the door has been left open?
Re: Players for next season
Saturday August 10th.
I believe the league AGM is today where the constitution of the leagues will be ratified. You can expect dates and fixtures to be released over the next couple of weeks although dates for the FA Cup and Trophy have already been released by The FA.
