I'm starting to get a little nervous now, 9 points off the playoff pace and 8 points off of relegation - we're now 19th in the current form table for the last 6 games, we've hit a run of bad form at just the wrong time. A lot of the teams below us in the league table are higher in the form table than us - that's a tad worrying. I didn't expect us to be pushing at the top this year, but I did expect a more comfortable midtable position and no relegation dramas.
Yes, the loss of key players has hurt us, but the lads Michael puts out in the shirt are good enough, or should be, they need to start believing and grafting and Michael has to find a way of getting a tune out of them really quickly because at this time of the year with games coming thick and fast we could find ourselves embroiled in a relegation battle before we know it and none of us want that.
Corby are having their own troubles and 3 points on Boxing Day would do a lot for our confidence and steady the ship because the New Year Day game against an in form Loughborough Students (currently 5th in the form table) is a very difficult match - lose both and we will be looking over our shoulders big time!!
