Signing that should give Tyler something to think about.
Winters has had virtually no competition for his place in the team all season and during past couple of months it has shown in his lacklustre performances.
A front trio of O Brien, Alabi and Andrade should bring the goals that our play off challenge requires.

Re: James Alabi
I think you are spot on SD. Tyler has not been at the races recently and a bit of healthy competition wont hurt at all!
11 outfield goals is a healthy return for the young striker who is still learning his trade but for us to be challenging for the play-offs we do need someone up top who can lead the line better and hit the net more often.
I'm sure Tyler's time will come at a higher level but first he must learn to show more respect for Elliot and Jim should he be substituted against his 'better judgment'. Walking past the dugout when substituted at RC Warwick was not a good look or indeed a good decision. He - along with every other squad member - have no given right to start any game. That is solely the decision of the manager.
If the game goes ahead on Saturday, I hope Alabi starts.

I thought that at the time, but he did come straight back after going to the changing rooms. The pressman wrote: Thu Feb 12, 2026 7:01 pm I think you are spot on SD. Tyler has not been at the races recently and a bit of healthy competition wont hurt at all!

Only Jordan Graham has given him any sort of competition for his place, but he made no sort of challenge for his position.
Time is on his side no doubt, but even just to potentially learn off of another striker will help him along
