How about an experiment with the chance to swap back to the DeBanke when we shoot that way? Give the away team a third of the AirWair, give us the rest? Wouldn't hurt..

Seconded, like we did at Hednesford back in 98/99 Always supporting the end your team is shooting towards. That would never happen at RDFC though, everyone would miss their banter with Dale too much ;)Sara Pascoe wrote:That's a great idea!DiamondsFan wrote:How about an experiment with the chance to swap back to the DeBanke when we shoot that way? We could do a massive conga at half time from one end to the other.

Re: AirWair/Peter DeBanke Terrace
I'd be up for it if all the singers went, I think the increase in atomosphere could make Nene Park a really intimidating place for teams to come...
You're not number 1...
Re: AirWair/Peter DeBanke Terrace
my first days of going to nene park i used to switch ends at half time. was actually quite gutted when we first segregated it all but made the debanke my permanent home and have stood there ever since.
peter debanke was an absolute legend for diamonds (not that i was alive, but the records dont lie!) and i am proud to have his name above our terrace.
added to the fact that i hate sitting down at football means i will probably be a debanker for as long as home fans can enter its turnstiles.
trivial point but if you look at the ground constuction the north, debanke and south stands all merge nicely into each other where as the airwair stands out as a seperate stand, its cut off from the rest of the ground.
its a good place to put away fans. seperate from us.
