Tomorrows Kick-Off Time?

Post by Oundle Diamond #2 »

SSN says 7.30 but can't find it on the preview of the game!

Anyone able to confirm the kick-off time?

If it's 7.30, why is it this early? So we dont have to use floodlights?

The OWS says it's 7.30pm under fixtures and results. Evening kick offs are usually 7.45pm so it's not that much earlier and I commented last night on how dark it was by 9pm so I'm pretty sure we'll have to use the lights anyway.
The West Brom game next week kicks off at 7.30pm too.

Only league fixtures and for the last 2-3 seasons mid-week pre season friendlies have always kicked off at 7.30pm.

We turned up at 740 for a game against spurts only to find we'd missed 3 goals (finished 6-2)

Oooppppps :D
It always pays to look around the OWS, the information is nearly always there. In this case, all the friendly kick off times are clearly listed under the fixtures and results heading.

The lights were on yesterday morning at 8.10 when I passed the ground. Presumably they were being tested ahead of tonight's match.
There did appear to be several bulbs not working on the lights I could see.

Business as usual then. Maybe we don't want to use too much electricity or perhaps a deliberate ploy to keep our players and fans in the dark.
