I thought Robbo was one of the favourites for MoM last night - and perhaps that was why Jamie Day was tried on the right. It was a shame Justin Miller got a knock on Tuesday evening, as it would have been interesting to see how he coped at Right Back facing Scott Spencer, who I thought was their best player. Miller really impressed me in the 45 minutes I've seen him play - but obviously that was early days.
I agree with the comments that we'll need to start trying out the preferred combinations for the final line-ups soon - I think Alan Power is going to be the P*** T**** replacement, rather than the Mark Byrne replacement, so we need to try him, Porter and Spence together - I think that could be a decent partnership - but as others have said, Jamie Day is clearly a class act who will start most games - but will it be in left midfield ?
One of the biggest challenges for JE will be to decide what to do with his versatile players such as Huke or Corcoran, especially if he has a full squad to choose from.

We don't play with wingers? Or at least we didn't for the second half of last season.TheIncognitoKid wrote:I haven't seen day yet, but is there a chance he can play on the wing?
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
