I agree. He "knitted" the back and front together very well. Just a shame he couldn't keep it in his trousers.

Very True and worked well as Byrne had the legs and energy to do a lot of the leg work allowing Terry to thread the balls through the defence or out wide.

So far it doesn't look like JE has managed to replace them, although we may not have seen the finished midfield (and they have only been friendly matches) it doesn't look as strong as last year

Remember we only signed Terry at the end of August though.. Still plenty of time left to replace him if our midfield appears weak in league games.
