K*ttering's Christian Moore received a 3 match ban for a headbutt on Magnus Okuonghae, some 5 seasons back in a pre-season friendly, so it's likely Charles will receive the same!

I believe the red card only counts if the ref makes reference to it in his report. So I guess its 50/50 as the whether or not Ryan gets banned. If he does get banned I've no idea though if the remaining 2 PSFs count as games meaning he would only miss the Fleetwood game.

Having said this the ref was such a complete tosser he probably made out that the Dons were complete angels and us complete thugs! Lets hope we never see him again at NP. :x

I think he'll go on our referee's black list along with a certain Mr Fletcher!

Veira sent off and this article says that he won't miss a competitive match so i guess the same will apply to Charles

Bit confused on the Charles red card front. ET saying something different. :?

I'll check out the FA website again to see if I can find something that is up to date.

In the 2009/2010 season
"A player dismissed from the Field of Play will be suspended automatically from Friendly
Matches until such time as his Club has completed its next Friendly Match, as decided
by The Football Association"

The major changes ahead of the new campaign include:
•In exceptional cases only, the ability to reduce, or increase, on application, the standard punishment for red card offences*
•Sanctions, resulting from red cards shown in pre-season friendly fixtures, will not apply to competitive first team games*
•Bringing forward of the yellow card amnesty cut-off date, from end of February to 31 December
•Suspensions for reaching 5, 10 or 15 yellow cards to begin with immediate effect*
*Only for clubs competing in the Premier League, Football League and Football Conference National

They compliment each other so it could just be me reading something that isn't there.

A precedent has been set by Patrick Viera I think:
