Joe Yoffe

So what is the news on Yoffe, is he still on trial or was he turned away etc.
From what i saw/heard of him he seemed a decent player. Would like to see him, especially if Howe does not sign.

I was comparing him to Shariff in matches, and he came off second best every time IMO. He clearly had some technichal ability, but didn't seem to be able to use it in a match. By the use of Sam Gargan as a trialist too (what has happened with him?) I would assume Yoffe has gone off to find a club somewhere else.

It was confirmed about 10 days ago that Yoffe had left the club. He is technically very gifted, but far too lightweight to succeed at this level.

Personally,i would have given him a chance if i was JE, but then again im not a proffesional manager and i'm pretty sure JE knows what he is doing.

Since when has expressing your opinions on a player been pointless? The whole idea of a forum is to express your views/opinions on the club. whether it be players or whatever. I thought Yoffe was a good player so i dont really understand how my view is pointless, when there are about 50 posts saying what a great player Lee Tomlin is. And is backing up a manager really "pointless"? Next time sombody complements JE shall i put an unecessary post in which i try to be a comedian, but nobody really finds funny as there were no replies in 9 hours?

Maybe you should chill out a bit. The post was in light humour, not an insult. You can see where he is coming from though, you contradicted yourself in a way in your post.
