It is strange how people can moan really. The ticket system seems fine to me.

For £15 you become a part of the club, gives you the discounted ticket for the PDB (so 5 home games later your in exactly the same position money-wise if you hadn't purchased it), plus you get the discount in the club shop etc etc.

It was unfortunate Saturday about the game, early season nerves. One little slip up leading to a goal, and a missed penalty which was dreadful looking even from 100 yards away, apart from these it could have been a very different outcome. By Saturday for Barrow the attacking line up should be sharper.

You've possibly missed the main debate on this considering the number of posts you've posted. From my viewpoint it's a matter of choice. I've not seen the full directive here nor anywhere else, so the 40 years I've watched the club would not make me a part of the club if I hadn't joined the Trust? Joining the Trust isn't the whole picture, it is wrong that this unseen directive was issued, and (IMHO) it was wrong for our club to increase the prices in the manner they have (and can you explain how being a member of the Trust offset's the price rise? What's next, you have to be a season ticket holder to come into NP?). 2 wrongs don't make a right to me. You're preaching to fans who have (up until this point) supported this club for a decade or more, but who are now drifting away, or going home unhappy. It's bad for business. Many of us have emailed the Conference and the club, I haven't seen a full explanation from any of them yet.

Surely the Trust membership is a "means to an end" - a way of offering loyal fans like yourself reduced price admission without it infringing the FA / Conference rules. Plenty of other clubs have come up with similar schemes to give those of their dedicated fans who can't justify buying a season tickets reduced price admission. Some, like Oxford and Luton, do it via reduced prices for advanced purchase - but that is inconvenient for many, whereas others have done it via a membership scheme.

you can't please all the people, all of the time.
the club have been forced into it and have offered a way round it.
now you either want to come and watch or you don't.
it's much like the car park. you either pay ya money and park or you park elsewhere and walk in.
i'd rather pay personally but i'm sure there are loads who park on the old bridge and walk in.

If I'm right, its because the issue was orced upon him. The same reason that I won't be joining it. I can see the gates dwindling to approx 800 by the endo of the seaason.

I'll be pleased as punch if you could produce that proof in the form of the Conference directive/ statement, it'll give us the chance to sell the idea to others, even though the door has been shut after the horse has bolted. The problem is that it seems to have been forced, and there's no choice in that (except a bad one from the club's coffers point of view). We're only offering Trust membership as a "way around it", and not cheaper tickets if brought in advance (other than season tickets). Also the main difference is that Luton and Oxford do not have standing, so it's hardly a fair comparison.
