You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

Re: Luton Cleared
That is Ridiculous!!!! The Club is responsible for their fans and they definantly did not 'control their fans'

Re: Luton Cleared
I am most likely in the minority but no club can be held responsible for their fans as long as they take all the correct rules on the control or attempted control of the fans within the stadium.
There is too much of this blaming others or organisations for not controlling behaviour, you do not have to attack players or other fans, no doubt Luton town forced the idiots to throw bottles etc at the players, nope it was a total lack of decent behaviour from people who cannot control themselves.
How many times have we heard on this or equivelant forums the squeals of its unfair from the fans that we are not allowed on the pitch at the end of the season, the club can't take the risk for other peoples actions as if something did happen the club is responsible in DiamondsR4evers words.

Re: Luton Cleared
The key point in the article is this "After receiving reports from both clubs and the police, it is understood the FA was satisfied Luton could not have done more to prevent trouble inside the ground."
To be fair, if any individual or group of individuals is intent on causing trouble, there is very little any Club can do, they will find a way to do it regardless of any attempts to prevent it. All the Clubs need to do is to be able to prove that they had the necessary prevantative measures in place, regardless of whether or not they worked.

Re: Luton Cleared
Surely these 'fans' were on TV and CCTV and can be identified and banned by Luton Town..?
Re: Luton Cleared
Yes, some of them have already been dealt with; Bedfordshire Police are still trying to trace a handful of them. I posted a link to all the mugshots a couple of weeks ago.

I believe about 20 have so far been arrested including one from Norway who has been jailed, the police are still after another 4 or 5
