That was an amazing away atmosphere - how could you have left early!!!
Because I was 12 and didnt have a say in the matter ;)
Should have thrown a tantrum mate, could have stayed then ;) :D

Once - away at Oxford, 3-0 down and the clock clicked to 90 minutes !! I was due to attend a family function in Thame, so left to miss the traffic chaos. As I walked across the carpark I heard the cheer as Darby scored, 3-1 I thought !! In the car and driving away from the ground I hear on the radio "a great fightback at the Kassam, 3-2 now".............we lost by that margin, but I've never left before the final whistle since.............nor have I been allowed to forget the day I left a game early !!

You fibber! ;) You must have left on 84 minutes at the very latest, as Duane's goals were scored in the 85th and 88th minutes!

If there was one game I'd stay until the end it was that one! We weren't going to make a comeback but the atmosphere was still amazing despite losing and I needed to applaud the players for the season we'd witnessed.

For the record my only time was Peterborough away in 2006, 2-0 down a couple of minutes before the end.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

My old man used to do it after nearly every game to beat the traffic but now that I come alone, I haven't left early in over 3 years.
