Unfortunately for Joe, I think he is going to really struggle to get a first team spot, especially now we've gone back to 4-4-2. Power and Porter have been two of our best performers so far IMO, so unless one of them has a sudden poor run of form, picks up an injury or has to play out of position again, I imagine they will be our first choice central midfielders this season. When we were playing 4-3-3 Joe stood a better chance as the third spot was still up for grabs.
I would definitely have him on the bench every game though, just in case we win a penalty!

Yes, the trialist scored the first goal according to the OS.DiamondsFan wrote:I saw Keehan's shot. The way it's described on the OS doesn't do it justice - the cross came in and it looked like he was falling to the ground and hit it side on before the ball leathered the crossbar before bouncing down and away. Keehan's quite a good player, surprised he's not really had a look in for the first team yet.
Didnt even know one was playing.diamondgeezer1 wrote:Anyone know who the trialist was? Did he look any good?
Official Website wrote: The equaliser arrived on 79 minutes after Nathan Koranteng crossed from the left. Keehan's challenge saw the ball fall nicely for a trialist to fire home from 15 yards.

He got injured pre season didnt he so in some respects he has been quite unlucky not to get a look in for 1st team.
He looked like he was taking a while to adapt to full time pro football didnt make the adjustment as quick as johnson but his record certainly looks good and im sure with time we will see his full potential, he could be just what we need a player driving on from midfeild. i can think of soo many shots that have fallen to Power on the edge of the box maybe he could convert some of these
