It'l feel like a pre season friendly then.

Why can't we just put them in the Air Wair?
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

It's not so bad for pre-season games when you have more notice and there are less people to accommodate anyway.
My first thought was also that the Airwair would have been the best option as there is plenty of room and people could just be admitted with their existing ticket and be allowed to sit anywhere. It wouldn't require any extra stewards/gate people as the North Stand staff could be used, and it would avoid extra work for the ticket office and avoid a lot of inconvenience for spectators.

I would imagine that many of the North Stand regulars prefer sitting along the side of the pitch, so would prefer a move to the South Stand instead. Either way it's a bit of a logistical nightmare for the club, and will inevitably piss a few people off (again)!

Range up done over the phone collection from ticket collection when I get there. Not a problem......glad I heard about it before I turned up five minutes before kick off.

Turned up to find NS locked. Went to ticket office to be relocated in SS. Nobody seemed to give a f... seemed like 'hey just one of those things so get on with it' - no apology or anything. Given a crap seat in the family area with no choice about it.
Was told the problem was a flood and it might be sorted by next home game but no promises. Considering that's 10 days away surely someone can borrow a mop before then..?
This is not the way to run a club in the 21st century.
After last season and now this just get the feeling that ST holders in the NS don't really count - except when the money is collected. Fed up with the way we are treated.
Don't know why the club doesn't close the NS completely and have done with it - at least that way those who want to buy a ST will have the security of their seat for the season in the South Stand.

The North Stand was closed on Health and Safety grounds, the water/sewer problems were obviously unexpected problems for the club. You make it sound like the club created this problem with the sole aim of pissing off people who sit in that stand, Quite clearly not the case. This stadium is nearly 20 years old, and if you ask me look brilliant for it. But during the last 4/5 years, it probably hasnt be maintained correctly because the funds were and are simply not there, many under the surface issues, others more obvious like the floodlights. Your ST is very much valued by the club, and i would imagine some of it will go into the repair of the problem, if you and many didnt have a ST then your stay away from the NS may well of been longer then it will be this time round. We are in the 2010, with the news of Ilkeston and Croydon over recent days, you should be lucky that A) you have a club to go and see and B) your ticket in an stand that has excellent services and facilites is replaced with one of equal standards.

I'm disappointed to read that "valued" ST holders have been treated in such a shoddy manner. Whilst I totally appreciate that the problems in the NS are out of the Club's control and unexpected, i would have thought a courtesy call to those ST holders affected would been made. It's simply not good enough to rely on the Internet or the ET. Good customer service should be a priority.

Ken (he who loves his own voice) made an apology to anybody inconvenienced prior to the kick off at least twice.
