KC funded the club to the tune of approximately £300k last season, but we only made £270k from the Tomlin and Jacko sales if media reports are correct. Two of Diamonds wrote:It's possible, but with the current "utilities failure" in the North Stand, a load of lamps not working on the floodlights and in the carparks(they still use electricity even if they're not working I'm told) and regular problems with the sewage pumps, it'll soon get eaten up.Sara Pascoe wrote: I'd be bloody worried if we weren't after the Jackson sell-on money and Tomlin money that we've had! Maybe with those and a top-half finish we might be looking at a profit for the first season in our history?

I reckon if we can't raise enough, we should ask the club for a little bit of discount. I'm sure they'd rather have some money from us rather than £0 if we can't raise enough.

^^I can't see it happening. Why should the forum get a discount is someone else has paid the full £350 + VAT? How would you react as a business if that happened?DiamondsFan wrote:I reckon if we can't raise enough, we should ask the club for a little bit of discount. Can't see it happening myself either, but it'd be nice for them to reward us for our loyalty to the club and sponsoring a player aswell by helping us if we cant raise enough.Mad Dog wrote:^^I can't see it happening. ^^ It might sound nice, but again if you're a business looking to invest you wouldn't look kindly upon it, especially if a supporters; messageboard paid less and won.DiamondsFan wrote:Can't see it happening myself either, but it'd be nice for them to reward us for our loyalty to the club and sponsoring a player aswell by helping us if we cant raise enough.Mad Dog wrote:^^I can't see it happening. Re: Shirt Sponsorship 'Raffle'
Apologies that I haven't said anything for the past couple of days (post Newport depression is one reason)
RedSnapper thanks very much for the offer to collect everyone's money but I was actually referring to comment made by someone who wanted to do a bucket collection. However I'm not bothered how the money gets to me so long as it does so if anyone wants to pass their money on to you then thats more than ok.
Currently, however, the most pressing problem is that we only have £255.30 pledged.
Any more or am I going to have to cancel the whole thing? :-(
