I don't think he's a twat, but I think he's getting very ungrateful. He's a top class player but his arrogance is becoming more and more negative these days.

The reason he threatens to quit are pschological and unless you are qualified in that field you would NEVER understand, I have felt at times like I would love to just "walk away" from my life, in fact almost all of my life has been a mental battle with myself. Ronnie is just honest enough to admit that.
Calling him a twat because of his mental issues is IMO amazing, would you call someone a twat because they have a limp?
Don't twist my words into something else, not because he has mental issues what so ever. I called him a twat for walking away from a game when he was 4-1 down (which by my reckoning, is "losing" unless there's some new rule where 4-1 down is actually winning?)

If you're that bothered, as DiamondsFan said, I'll rephrase "twat" into "a very ungrateful person at times" if it suits your needs.

One of my all time sporting hero's and the best snooker player I've ever seen & is the reason I got into snooker in the first place, havent seen this 147 yet. I do believe when he 'wakled out' he was clinicly depressed?? So that could explain why he did that and lots of things he has done in the past.

But he has hit I believe 10 147's now??? Just brilliant

I thought he could have just said to the Ref or picked someone in the crowd "Name your charity." . Bang - there's £4000 for you, job done.

4k to most of us is a very tidy sum, to a multi millionaire who has already admitted to the above - why bother? It's not as if he needs to prove he can do it, or that he is chasing any kind of records.

Its his choice, he puts himself in that position and he can choose to go for it or leave it as he deems fit.

Sorry, but that certainly does not make him a twat.

Well said that man.

Too many people (jealous ones mostly) try this put down. From the responses here, RIGHT PREVAILS

Doesn't sound like an arrogant twat here.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.
