Cardiff, Bothroyd and Becchio

The above is what Jay Bothroyd did to Luciano Becchio during Cardiff's 4-0 win over Leeds on Monday. As Cardiff are members of the Welsh FA not the English, the FA had no control over punishment and Bothroyd has gotten away with that with no kind of punishment. Fortunately Becchio's ankle went at the point of impact and his studs didn't stick in the ground or it could have looked a lot words.

Now surely if you want to play in the English leagues you should be accountable to our FA? Not one who's best interests are served by a club not losing one of it's best players?

As an addition this was Bothroyd's reaction:
And Bothroyd insisted he had been the wronged party, saying: “It was me who was fouled. Their player knocked me over. Nobody should be sent off for trying to win the ball cleanly – and that’s what I did.”

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.
