Well this turned out to be an utter comedy show. Surely they'd test microphones and stuff beforehand?

Agreed, a total farce that made the Club look incredibly amateurish. I can't blame either set of fans who began cheering at the whistle thinking that it was over given that we'd been stood in silence, listening to silence for a good minute or two already.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

For various reasons, I took my place in the North Stand yesterday rather than my normal perch on the PDB. Despite Roger having problems with his mike you could still make out what he was saying because the PA system is very clear in the North Stand whereas I have found that there are problems with those speakers on the PDB and very often you can hear very little clearly over the PA. In defence of the PDB fans, I'm sure that very few heard the main stadium announcement regarding the referee's two whistles to signfy the start and finish of the one minute silence.

We couldn't hear a thing on the Terrace. It was an absolute farce on an important occassion that the Club usually gets right, it's the one thing we do every year that is spot on. Someone, somewhere made a monumental mistake and there cannot be any blame attached to the fans.

Even the Yeovil fans started making noise after he finished speaking..

Couldn't hear anything in the South Stand either. I knew something was wrong when i could see Roger's mouth moving and nothing coming out!

Weirdly i couldn't hear the North Stand tannoy either. Just silence.

We could hear something very faintly on the PDB but not enough to understand what was being said until they sorted the PA system out half way through.

Wondered where you were yesterday, Paul, what were the reasons behind your migration? Is old age finally catching up with you?! ;)
