Re: New Striker
I wouldn't want a nasty twat like that playing for us even if he did deliver the goods.

Jamie Guy has a sting of convictions as long as your arm including a current drink driving ban so another reason why he obviously wants to remain in Essex and Grays are obviously interested in employing this thug.Harry wrote:I wouldn't want a nasty twat like that playing for us even if he did deliver the goods.
Never mind Harry, you'll soon be able to see Chris Holroyd from Cambridge United who is due to join the Seagulls shortly.

Even more reason to avoid him then!Trek wrote:

Most Brighton fans aren't to happy with the signing of a non-league player. :lol:Trek wrote: Never mind Harry, you'll soon be able to see Chris Holroyd from Cambridge United who is due to join the Seagulls shortly.

Morons, do they not remember another non-league player running rings around them when we played them?Harry wrote:Most Brighton fans aren't to happy with the signing of a non-league player. :lol:Trek wrote: Never mind Harry, you'll soon be able to see Chris Holroyd from Cambridge United who is due to join the Seagulls shortly.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

Re: New Striker
Mansfield fans seem to be of the opinion that their striker, Kyle Perry, might be on his way out what with having Jon Shaw and Rob Duffy who are both apparently similar in style. People might remember Perry started the season brilliantly, scoring all his 9 goals after about 15 games IIRC. Gone off the boil and their manager does like to have a bit of a revolving doors policy. If he's available on a free then we could probably do a lot worse. He was sent off in their game agaisnt Stevenage in a contraversial manner and as a result missed the game against us earlier this season. Seen somewhere else that he is described as a left footed target man who can run the channels, and with the current formation that would be really good for us.
As for Jefferson, I'm really unsure, he's way too inconsistant, offside too much, he could never play at the same time as Akurang as they both like to be the man to get into the position for the tap in, and Akurang seems better at it, as well as having at least some concept of the offside trap.
