Re: Support the youth team
Gilly actually started out as a striker before moving to centre half, which is where he usually plays now (including tonight). He is currently on loan at Northampton Spencer and has scored a couple of times for them playing up front. I was speaking to Paul Driver at a youth game earlier in the season and he was saying that they are still unsure which is his best position. Based on tonight's performance I would say centre back as he had a superb game.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Does Gilly play up front now I'm guessing? He always used to be a centre half!
It was great to see a number of the first team players supporting the youngsters tonight. Joe Day, Craig Farrell, Curtis Osano, Lewwis Spence, Matt Johnson and Alan Power were all in attendance.

Yes, a great hardworking effort by the youth team last night. The last 15 minutes was like The Alamo, with our side dropping deep to defend what it had and Wycombe pushing forward remorselessly.
Good luck in the next round lads, you're doing the club proud.

Contrary to earlier reports, the Hull game will NOT be at the KC Stadium. Instead, our reward for reaching the 3rd round is a trip to North Ferriby United. Very disappointing. :(
