To some the pain of living
Becomes too much to bear,
He chose to end his life
But that doesn’t mean he didn’t care.

The blanket of depression
Shrouds the mind in misery,
And suffocating blackness
Is all that he could see.

Please know, though you are grieving
There was nothing you could do,
He chose this way to ease his pain
Not to end his life with you.

Let tears wash away your anger
Allow your aching heart to grieve,
He found his peace in heaven
It was just his time to leave.

That was so beautiful. I am still so sad that such a genuinely lovely young man is no longer with us. Dale always made time to speak to fans and always with that big beaming smile on his face. He was a credit to his family & his parents should take some comfort in the knowledge that he was thought of in such high regard & loved by all. My condolences & prayers go out to his family, friends, team mates & all who were close to him. RIP Dale.

I will never forget travelling to our 1st England C game in the car together mate, we felt so honoured and it was a privilege to have met you and to have played alongside you for club and country.
